October 2009 - Lahar DVD
Tark Communications produced this interactive educational DVDROM about the eruptions and lahars of Mt. Ruapehu for TNHS, DOC and the Taupo Museum with sponsorship from Genesis Energy and Horizons Regional Council.
The DVD is available from www.tongariro.org.nz for a donation.
June 2009 - Kapiti Display
An exciting accomplishment this year was the completion of the new display for the Rangatira Shelter on Kapiti Island. A seven metre long display on the forest and coastline birds and the island's flora now greets visitors.
