The Interpretation Network New Zealand (INNZ) shares best practice and fosters professional standards in heritage interpretation. They are a network of guides designers, contractors, writers, researchers, rangers, curators, volunteers, eco-tourism operators, students, teachers, trainers, and display and exhibit technicians.

Tongariro Natural History Society
The Tongariro Natural History Society, also known as Project Tongariro, is a group of people with an interest in the Tongariro National Park and a commitment to conservation. First established in 1984, the Society aims to introduce people to the park and conservation projects.
